I didn't particularly care for Swordspoint, so, no, I haven't listened to it. I'm listening to the full cast of American Gods.
Multiple narrators, now...that works when the narrators shift in the book. I've listened to both The History of Love and The Help and all the voices were perfect.
Come to think of it, the Lenny Henry narrated Anansi Boys is PERFECT and he does all the voices himself - I basically bought it for him - I never quite got into Gaiman. So solo narrators can be just as amazing ^^. And for autobiographies I prefer the writer him-/herself if they have any sort of voice at all.
*because* they are using multiple narrators for CNV, I am a little apprehensive about how they will deal with some of the extra narrative - notes and headings and stuff like that (*coughs*) - since they aren't really appropriate to either voice. I gave them a few suggestions.
True enough - and you have other characters talking anyway. But if Lenny Henry can be a narrator and every other character, too - I'm sure those ladies can handle it.
HA. Gaiman's probably all set on bok pushing, really, you should keep up the CNV pushing, which you are so good at.
I have read Anansi Boys. I think I have a signed hardback somewhere about, it's the sort of thing I do. (Although I may have only been able to get one book signed and got Good Omens signed instead.)
Well, I know I pushed an anime series on a fellow LJer (by sneakily linking to the ED animation for the song in it and she took it from there without any further help from me ^^) and a couple of books onto sho at GoodReads and we know that the Booksmugglers Ana is eagerly awaiting CN:V - so this year was a good pushy year all around ^^.
Hah! ^^ I don't know - one book review site confirmed is not all that much, and I only had to twist half an arm because Ana already is a fan of World War II female pilots ^^.
I think you better stick with your publisher's PR ^^ - but when I see an opportunity I will certainly keep on pushing you (and my other favourite authors' books).

I love Gaiman always. I am a huge ridiculous fangirl.
