Apr. 9th, 2010 02:09 pmSara is EVEN BETTER at timewasting than me. She has made Sims out of all my characters.

(She would do a Verity if I let her. But really it would be somewhat indecent to be able to download the Sim before I finish the book.)
I pass along this meessage from Sara to
mhari: "Tell her to upload hers. Hers are better than mine because she made them herself, I think."

(I suppose I count as a home grown fan as well.)

Date: 2010-04-09 09:44 pm (UTC)Have you read "Chasing the Wind" in Firebirds? (The first Firebirds.) It is partly about Lucy and Harry grown-up.

Date: 2010-04-10 12:35 am (UTC)As it is, having only read the first few chapters of The Oysterman's Opera and having been told more about how the story was going to progress, it is in my head like a novel I read once a long time ago. Which is kind of cool. I am reminded of it sometimes by random things, like tennis courts or rice pearls or watching my hands steam from washing dishes. I kind of like thinking of it as a half forgotten story.
Tell Sara that I am digging out my Sims disc, which I haven't done in ages. Goewin is lovely.

Date: 2010-04-09 10:03 pm (UTC)you know, what stopped me on DF (apart from general lack of activity) was that sara is in a new school and we all have to get up an hour earlier. I just COULD NOT do the late nights any more after about mid-august last year--just couldn't do it. I miss it.

Date: 2010-04-09 11:40 pm (UTC)that's okay, DF has pretty much died the death. it had a good run as internet rpgs go, BUT I can direct you to a place for further shenanigans, if you like. >_>
meanwhile, i have been meaning to bestir myself more -- I do appreciate the emails and so forth, an awful lot, I just have not had the spoons to reciprocate. ♥
