Date: 2008-02-23 05:57 pm (UTC)Actually, I'm not much of a story-about-Lancelot fan. Maybe it's overexposure, or the predictability of it all. As soon as he turns up, I think "Tsk. It'll all end in tears," and then the rest of the story is just waiting for that to happen.
As unexpected as the surprise in A Coalition of Lions was, this was so much more unexpected. (Wished for, but not anticipated. Perhaps too much Joss Whedon has taught me not to hope for such things.) And now I really can't wait for the next book.
