Thank you! Of course, on Rose Release Day I was in fact neither in Maryland nor Scotland but AUSTRALIA. I've just returned from a month of touring, first for the Brisbane Writers' Festival, and then for the release of Rose in the US and Canada. Now catching up on all the mail I've missed answering!
I love your reminiscences of Catalinas... I guess I'm not jealous because I really *hate* being airsick. And I, too, am a big fan of Colin Baxter. When I first came to the UK as an adult in the 1980s I used to make a point of seeking out his postcards to send people. I even have a deck of cards with Colin Baxter photos on the back!
