Speaking of books you made me read, I recently borrowed something by Rosemary Sutcliffe from a friend. And I certainly shouldn't've tried to read "The Wasteland" quite so young, it put me off Elliot until well into college when I read "The Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock."
I really enjoyed The Ruby in the Smoke, and I thought The Shadow in the North was also pretty good, but MAN was The Tiger in the Well bad.
