Yep, just so. I actually love Christmas with my in-laws, who are fabulous people and as wacky & silly as I am. But it'll be nice to go back for a year and do things the way I used to, also. (well, partly; seeing as my parents are divorced now the day itself will be quite different, merf...but the night before with the crazy huge gathering of extended family will be the same, whee!)
And if nothing else, going back to the States where everything now seems really really cheap thanks to the dollar-pound exchange ratio, just in time for holidays? Rah. =)
