Wildfire! geez. Scary, and incomprehensible to me--I have never had to deal with anything remotely comparable. It has been pouring, pouring, pouring here for the last week, and everything is in flood. It happens regularly but it is always a bit freaky.
Thank you for the good wishes for our vacation with Gramma. There will be some baking done for sure--we have a couple of birthdays coming up and an angel food cake has been requested (one year my daughter requested a Giant Whoopie Pie for her birthday cake)
