Continuing with the Borders TeenLibris series, the Percy Jackson collection, based on Rick Riordan's Olympian series, is about to be released. Most everybody here already knows that I've got essays in their Golden Compass collection and Through the Wardrobe, which has now officially been spotted in stores (Borders exclusively... in North America exclusively, alas). My Percy Jackson essay is on disability as used within the series; the hero is both dyslexic and has ADHD. He's the half-blood son of Poseidon the sea-god and has more or less grown up in New York City before he finds out who his real father is...
Here's a little more info on the essay collection, for the curious:

So... check out Rick Riordan (he's also the guest editor of the collection as well as the author of the series) and check out Teen Libris. You can read Riordan's introduction to the collection and a couple of the essays here. Check out Teen Libris's "Library Link," as well--they're starting to post excerpts to books by the authors that write for them. In theory something from The Empty Kingdom might turn up there at some point.
(thus endeth this week's plug for Borders!)
