hello, I'm done. The written manuscript of The Sword Dance is now complete. I feel like it ought to be on vellum or something, but no, it's in a Staples Composition Book with a blue cardboard cover.
I don't know what the final word count is (or, indeed, if anyone cares). Suffice it to say that by the time I've finished typing it up, it will be well over 500 pages.
And I've already cut 40 pages from the beginning.

I loved Priamos. To know that you allowed him to be both strong & emotional is one of the greatest gifts you offer our world. This book is a rarity in the YA department. I'm glad someone had the wisdom to represent your work.

I love Priamos too--I found, in writing the book, that it was not possible for Goewin to fall in love with him until I did.
