We have *piles* of those books with the old photographs of various neighborhoods, but also things like "Vanishing America," "The Verse by the Side of the Road," "Perthshire Architecture," "The Great North Road," etc. "Concrete Arch Bridges in Pennsylvania in the 1920s." "The Golden Age of Neon/Diners/Drive-Ins etc." And then I go picking up things like "The Building of the Poitiers Town Hall," which I suppose doesn't *exactly* qualify, but is related to the same itch.
