which is to say, it doesn't have anything to do with the quality appearance of the book or one's desire to have it immediately, but related in era. I was wondering last night how barrage balloons were tethered to the ground. We found a couple of pictures of things online that people said they *thought* were tethers, plus a scholarly mention of iron bars set into concrete in Greenwich that are "likely" to be tethers. After a lot of searching around, I said to myself "I bet E Wein knows." Presuming that to be the case, are these correctly identified? http://www.scribd.com/doc/11780791/Shooters-Hill-Greenwich photo from Stoke Newington http://www.flickr.com/photos/sarflondondunc/2415402749/
